Description

Krendelia gen. nov.

Type species. Krendelia ansata sp. nov.

Diagnosis. Tegmen truncate apically, emarginate at MA. Costal margin sinuate basally, convex distally. RA bent at ir. RP forked. MA forked, MP simple. Basal cell arched, CuA elbowed at apex of basal cell. Commissural margin highly cristate. Surface (including veins) rasp-like, basally punctate, distally granulate. Pronotum multicarinate.

Etymology. From Russian krendel (pretzel); gender feminine.
