Diagnosis. O. eminens is similar to O. extensa (in the extensa species-group) and O. fuscopurpurea on wing pattern. In O. eminens, the forewing apex is more protruding than in the other two species; the broad yellow postmedial line is inwardly concave above CuA2, but much narrower and straighter in O. extensa and O. fuscopurpurea. The male genitalia are similar to those of O. liensis in the semicircular uncus, stick-like median process of the gnathos, the pointed distal-medial and ventral processes on the valva, and the almost quadrate saccus. However, O. eminens can be distinguished by the following characters: the valva is much longer than that of O. liensis; the distal-medial process on the valva is longer than the ventral one, while it is shorter than the latter in O. liensis. The female genitalia of these two species have a broad corpus bursae but without a signum.

Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Guangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan), Korea, Japan, Myanmar.
