Diagnosis. Camaegeria xanthopimplaeformis is the largest species of the genus with an alar expanse of 25 mm or more (below 20 mm in the congeners) and can be easily identified by the yellow body. Only the female holotype and two other specimens, a female and a male (Fig. 22), all housed at the MNHP, are currently known. The genitalia structure of the female, which has no significant specific characters, is figured by Viette (1982) and that of the male is unknown.
