Condylostylus Bigot

Description

Genus Condylostylus Bigot

Condylostylus Bigot, 1859: 215. Type species: Psilopus bituberculatus Macquart, 1842 (original designation).

Diagnosis. This genus is distinguished by the following combination of characters: 1 strong vt arising from setose distinct mound on frons; 2–3 pairs of long acr present; both sexes with 5 strong dc; 2 pairs of strong sc; crossvein mcu straight; hypopygium often relatively small compared with other Sciapodinae (Bickel 1994; Yang et al. 2011).
