Description

Figure 1 Serum UA in anti-NMDAR encephalitis, MS, NMO, and PD patients were significantly decreased compared with CTLs (p < 0.001, p < 0.001, p < 0.001, and p = 0.013, respectively).

 

Figure 2 Serum UA in anti-NMDAR encephalitis patients, age- and sex-matched CTLs and anti-NMDAR encephalitis patients at follow-up. Serum UA levels in anti-NMDAR encephalitis patients at initial admission were significantly lower than in age- and sex-matched CTLs (p < 0.001), and significantly lower than in anti-NMDAR encephalitis patients after treatment (p < 0.05). Serum UA levels in anti-NMDAR encephalitis patients after treatment had normalized compared with CTLs, and the difference between the two groups was no longer significant.
