Type material: Holotype ♂, “Gazah” (Palestine), Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources Nicosia.

JORDAN: North Shuna env., 29.– 30.4.1996; Pella env., 29.4.2006; 30km WWN Aljun, 30.4.2006. SYRIA: Dibbin, 30km S Suwayda, 15.– 17.5.1996; Salkhad env., 6.5.1996; Kafr, 10km SE Suwayda, 19.5.1996. TURKEY, Adiyaman: Kuyucak env., 10.6.2001; Mersin: Mut, 12.6.1965, 28.5.1967, 10.6.1985; Sanliurfa: Halfeti, 5.5.1994; Urfa, 1.6.1998.

Distribution. Central to eastern Turkey and southern Turkey to the Levant (Syria, Jordan, Israel and Palestine).

Pollen hosts. Probably oligolectic on Allium (Alliaceae): all 20 pollen loads (6 localities, 3 countries) analyzed so far exclusively consisted of Allium pollen.

Nesting biology. Unknown.
