Description
Marumba sperchius subsp. sperchius (Ménétriés, 1857)

Remarks. Recorded from Murree by Mehmood et al., (1996) as Marumba sperchius subsp. albicans; this is currently considered to be just a pale and relatively unmarked form of M. sperchius subsp. sperchius (Kitching & Cadiou, 2000). This subspecies ranges east through Nepal, northeastern India and China, to Korea and Japan, and south to continental Thailand, Laos and northern Vietnam (Pittaway & Kitching, 2013).
