Material studied. Paralectotypes: AUSTRALIA: 2 ♂, 1 ♀, originally mounted on one card (remounted separately during present study), with " K 23231 " [white, handwritten] and "K 197802" [white, printed] and " Phagonophana / kingii / 156" [white, handwritten], registered by AMS as syntypes from Paramatta, New South Wales (AMS). Additional specimens: AUSTRALIA: 4 ♂, Queensland, Atherton, Mjöberg leg., date unknown (NHRS); 1 ♀, Queensland, Herberton, Mjöberg leg., date unknown except for January (NHRS); 1 ♀, Queensland, Cedar Creek, Mjöberg leg., date unknown except for April (NHRS); 2 ♂, 1 ♀, Queensland, 2 km NE Mt. Coonowrin, "slime mould under bark", 6.vi.1992, leg. C. Reid (ANIC, cPJ); 1 ♂, 1 ♀, Queensland, Peters Creek, Conondale Range, 26.682ºS, 152.567ºE, "barkspray", 26.ii.2010, leg. G. Monteith (ANIC); 1 ♀, 1 ex., Queensland, Kuranda, "1/50, J.G. Distribution (Fig. 34). Already recorded from New South Wales and Queensland; here recorded from new localities along the eastern coast of Australia.
