Deflorita argentata Ingrisch, 1998

Material examined. 1 female (ZRC.ORT.742), Kent Ridge, coll. Kong Nee, Roland, 23 August 1990.
Taxonomy. Only a female specimen was available, which is difficult to differentiate with a similar looking species Deflorita deflorita (Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878) from Sri Lanka. The two species are mainly differentiated by male stridulatory files and geographical distribution. Deflorita argentata was recorded in Singapore (Ingrisch, 2011).
