Preparation and Comparative Studies of some Substituted 4-Thiazolidinones and 2-Azetidinones linked to 1,3,4-Thiadiazole

4-THTAZOLIDINONE derivatives have been found to possess wide variety of biological activities^1,2. 2-Azetidinone and its derivatives also possess wide therapeutic activities³. With a view to get better therapeutic agents, we have undertaken the prepara­tion of 4-thiazolidinone and 2-azetidinone deriva­tives.
