Acrotrichis terminalis sp. n.

Habitus Fig. 33A. Length 0.53 mm. Yellowish brown species. Antennomeres 3–11 0.22 mm long Fig. 34 C. Mentum and submentum chaetotaxy Fig. 33 E. Width across eyes 0.20 mm. Pronotum 0.26 mm wide, 0.14 mm long, sides with a barely detectable sinuation before the hind angle Fig. 33 B. Elytra 0.26 mm long, 0.28 mm wide. Mesoventrum with marginal setae, collar Fig. 33 F. Metaventral posterior margin Fig. 33 G.

Male: ventrite six with 5/6 fine spines; aedeagus Fig. 33 D.

Female: not known.

Etymology. The last species to be studied and possibly the smallest Acrotrichis known to date.

Remarks. Although described on the basis of a single male, the very small size, narrow body and short antennal segments are sufficient to distinguish this species from all others.

Type data. Holotype: ♂, Ankarafantsika N.P., AKF/09/2011, sifting forest litter, Winkler app. extr., S.16˚18’09.9” E.46˚48’39.3”, 87 m, 23.iv.2011, L.S. L.S.Rahanitriniaina & R.Raveloson (BMNH).
