DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Indonesia and Philippines to Vanuatu, north to southern Japan, south to New Caledonia. Found in shallow coastal waters, entering lagoons, estuaries and rivers, 0– 3 m. Freshwater, transitional water and marine.
