Tuponia (Chlorotuponia) hippophaes (Fieber, 1861)

Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan (Ghahari et al. 2010a), Hamadan (Samin et al. 2011), Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2010), West Azarbaijan (Sakenin et al. 2010; Linnavuori 2010), Iran (no locality cited) (Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution and hosts. Holomediterranean species, recently introduced in some countries such Belgium; living on Tamarix sp. (Linnavuori 2010).
