Orthotylus (Melanotrichus) fieberi fieberi Frey-Gessner, 1864
Distribution in Iran. Guilan (Wagner 1957, the subspecies not indicated), Kerman (Linnavuori 2009), Khorasan (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999), West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2009), Iran (no locality cited) (Kerzhner & Josifov 1999).
General distribution and hosts. Irano-Turanian subspecies, collected on Chenopodium sp. (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999; Linnavuori 2009), the subspecies Orthotylus (M.) fieberi punctipes (Reuter, 1895) being known from Israel, Jordan, North and tropical Africa and Saudi Arabia (Kerzhner & Josifov 1999; Aukema et al. 2013).
