In consideration of the biological properties of carbazoles¹ and our interest in the pesticidal and larvicidal activities^2-4 of carbazoles, we report here the preparation of some new carbazole derivatives with a view to examine their larvicidal activities. We also report the biological activities of these compounds as well as some carbazoles of known structures.
