Lectotypus (designated by FOSBERG, 1991: 259): MICRONESIA. Caroline Islands: Palau, Korror [Koror], 10-100 m, II.1914, Ledermann 14230 (B [B100295926] image seen).
Notes. – This variety is found on Palau in the Caroline Islands (FOSBERG, 1991).
