Distribution in Iran. Guilan (Ghahari et al. 2012b).
Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia (Yu et al. 2012), Belgium (Wesmael 1838 as Opius testaceus; Yu et al. 2012), England (Marshall 1899 as Opius testaceus; Yu et al. 2012), Germany (Belokobylskij et al. 2003; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey (Beyarslan and Fischer 2011, 2013 as Opius testaceus; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Euphranta connexa (Fabricius, 1794), Goniglossum wiedemanni (Meigen, 1826), Rhagolites cerasi (L., 1758) (Diptera: Tephritidae), Pegomya hyoscyami (Panzer, 1809), P. s o l e n ni s (Meigen, 1826) (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) (Yu et al. 2012).
