Genus Bezzia Kieffer

Bezzia Kieffer, 1899: 69. Type species, Ceratopogon ornatus Meigen (orig. des.). Refs.: Huerta, 1996 (key to males and females from Mexico); Spinelli & Wirth, 1989a (key to subgenera and species groups for males and females, key to males and females of nobilis and punctipennis groups); Spinelli & Wirth, 1989b (key to females and some males of glabra and brevicornis groups); Spinelli & Wirth, 1990 (key to males and females of gibbera group); Spinelli & Wirth, 1991 (key to males and females of dentifemur and venustula groups).
