Description
Monoxia obesula Blake
MALLORCA—Palma: Es Carnatge, 10.2015, 15 exx. on bushes of Atriplex halimus L. (Chenopodiaceae). This is an invading species of North American origin which had been previously quoted from Sardinia (Clark et al. 2014) and Malta very recently (Mifsud 2016).
Our citation is the third Palaearctic record of this species. The event has probably occurred by trade of ornamental plants.
