Gasteruption assectator (Linnaeus, 1758): van Achterberg & Talebi 2014: 5 (table 2: catalogue Iran), 14 (key, key figures 9a–c), 38 (key, key figures 52aa–cc), 57 (taxonomy, diagnosis, biology, Alborz (Arangeh, Shahrestanak), East Azarbaijan (Shabestar)), 59 (figures 29–36), 60 (figures 37–47).

Gasteruption assectator (Linnaeus, 1758): Torabipour et al. 2016: 421 (West Azarbaijan (without locality)). Host in Iran. Unknown.

Distribution in Iran. Alborz, East Azarbaijan, Qazvin, West Azarbaijan (Torabipour et al. 2016). General distribution. Gasteruption assectator, the commonest Gasteruption species, is widely distributed in the Palaearctic and Nearctic regions and recorded from almost all countries.
