Type locality. Mount Arthur.
Broun number: 3419.
Type material examined. 1 ex. Holotype (NHM): card-mounted, “3419” [in Broun’s hand], “New Zealand. [red underline] \ Broun Coll. \ Brit. Mus. \ 1922-482.”, “Mt. Arthur. \ - 4000 feet.” [in Broun’s hand], “ Veronatus \ punctipennis.” [in Broun’s hand].
Remarks. Broun (1914a) studied a single specimen collected from Mount Arthur by G. V. Hudson.
