Veronatus apterus Broun 1921: 537. Macfarlane et al. 2011: 421 (catalogue).
Type locality. Routeburn.
Broun number: 4066.
Type material examined. 2 exx. Syntype (NHM): card-mounted, “4066.” [in Broun’s hand], “New Zealand. [red underline] \ Broun Coll. \ Brit. Mus. \ 1922-482.”, “Routeburn. \ 13.2.1914 ” [in Broun’s hand], “ Veronatus \ apterus.” [in Broun’s hand]. Syntype (NHM): ventrally card-mounted, same label data as above.
Remarks. Broun (1921) studied two specimens collected from underneath logs at an elevation 1500 ft by T. Hall on 13.02.1914.
