Type locality. Waitakerei [sic, Waitakere] Range.
Broun number: 2022.
Type material examined. 1 ex. Syntype (NHM): card-mounted, “2022” [in Broun’s hand], “Waitakerei”, “New Zealand. [red underline] \ Broun Coll. \ Brit. Mus. \ 1922-482.”, “ Cyphanodes \ vestitus ” [in Broun’s hand].
Remarks. Four specimens from Waitakerei Range were examined by Broun (1893).
