Material examined. BRAZIL: Amazonas, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, ix.1953, P. Melo ♂ (MCNZ 4525). Distribution. COSTA RICA, PANAMA (type locality), COLOMBIA, GUYANA, and BRAZIL: Amazonas, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte (new record), Tocantins (formerly Goiás, Dolling, 1977).
