Diagnosis: An “inverse” (right valve larger than left valve) Cypridea species, quite large (between 0.9 and 1.0mm carapace length) with a striking sculpture: four more or less extensive valve swellings on the side flanks enclose between them an irregularly star-shaped carapace indentation.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5381.

Paratypes: Not deposited.

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.93mm, height 0.60mm, width 0. 51mm.
