Cerceris sabulosa (Panzer, 1799)

Distribution in Iran: Alborz (Ebrahimi 2014), East Azerbaijan (Sakenin et al. 2010), Fars (Atbaei et al. 2015; Rezaei & Fallahzadeh 2015), Guilan (Morice 1921; de Beaumont 1970), Golestan (de Beaumont 1957), Khorasan- e Razavi (Ebrahimi 2014), Mazandaran (de Beaumont 1957), West Azerbaijan (Ebrahimi 2005; Samin & Bagriacik 2016).

General distribution: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Libya, Malta, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

Remarks: The subspecies Cerceris sabulosa sabulosa has been recorded from Iran (Atbaei et al. 2015; Rezaei & Fallahzadeh 2015).
