Type locality: ‘ Catbalonga, island of Samar, Philippines; eight fathoms’.
Label locality: ‘Catbalonga, Samar Is., Philippines, 8 fms’.
Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 1968231/1 and 1 paralectotype NHMUK 1968231/2 (H. Cuming collection). Indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype (Cernohorsky, 1969: 213).
