Paratypes: MA71624, four complete, dried specimens, collected from 27‒36m (15‒20 fathoms) from oyster beds, Foveaux Strait, New Zealand.

C urrent name: Notoplax rubiginosa (Hutton, 1872) ‒ Powell (1979): 31; Spencer et al. (2016).
