Moechotypa verrucicollis Gahan, 1894a: 60; Breuning & Itzinger, 1943: 49 (Distr.); Mukhopadhyay & Halder, 2004: 424 (Distr.).

Type locality: Myanmar: Upper Burma (ST); BMNH.

Distribution: India (Manipur) & Myanmar.

Moechotypa J. Thomson, 1864: 55 (type sp.: Moechotypa arida J. Thomson, 1864); Scotinauges Pascoe, 1871: 277 (type sp.: Scotinauges diphysis Pascoe, 1871); Tylophorus Blessig, 1873: 213 (type sp.: Tylophorus wulffusi Blessig, 1872).
