Type locality: Thailand: Siam (HT); MNHNP.

Distribution: India (South India; TN: Nilgiris, Madurai) & Thailand.

Lasiophrys Gahan, 1901: 71 (type sp.: Lasiophrys latifrons Gahan, 1901).
