Description

Schmidtea polychroa (Schmidt, 1861) Ball, 1974

Habitat and locality in Tunisia from bibliography. Animals were found among large numbers of isopods in the spring Ain El Ajmi, located at about 12 km from the town of Dahmani, not far from the Roman ruins of El Medeina (Harrath et al. 2012a).

Other localities in the world. Netherlands (Young 1972); Algeria (Gauthier 1923, Harrath et al. 2012a), France (Vila et al. 2004); Wales, Scotland, England (Ball & Reynoldson 1981); Germany (Beukeboom et al. 1996); Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden (Benazzi 1957); Canada, USA (Ball 1983).
