Dacus annulatus Becker, 1903: 138. Syntypes. Egypt (ZMHB). Psilodacus ariana Hering, 1937: 258. Syntypes. Ethiopia (Harrar) (ZMHB). Distribution. AF: Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Yemen. PA: Egypt. Egyptian localities. Unknown.

Remark. Efflatoun (1924a) listed this species as recorded from Egypt according to one female specimen in Berlin Museum supposed to have been captured from Egypt.
