Original Description: Erax bicaudatus Hine, 1919.

Published State Records: Dennis et al. (2009, 2010) (as Efferia bicaudata); Geller-Grimm (2016) (Wyoming); Lavigne (1972) (as Efferia bicaudata).

Published County Records: AL; CO; PL (includes 15 specimens identified by JKB and five specimens identified by CRN, all as Efferia bicaudatus).
