Syntaxonomy of Chilean Vegetation

Description

Hierarchical relationships between syntaxa recorded for the Chilean vegetation. Syntaxonomic ranks are recognized by their indentation and by their suffixes, as stated in the Art. 11 of the International Code of Phytosociological Nomenclature (Theurillat et al., 2020). The names of the classes (highest syntaxonomic ranks) are formatted in bold fonts.
Synonyms are placed below their respective accepted names and are indicated by a leading equal symbol. Besides every accepted name a link to the respective syntaxonomic view is added after the abbreviation sec. (secundum), which corresponds to the publication used as reference defining the circumscriptions of the respective syntaxonomic concepts. These terms are applied in analogous to plant taxonomy.
