Description
Krisna Kirkaldy
Type species: Krisna strigicollis Spinola, 1852.
Generic characters (Zhang, Zhang & Dai 2008): Body, robust. Head narrower than pronotum; crown short and broad; anterior margin slightly produced; ocelli situated on anterior margin of crown. Face short, broad. Clypeal suture prominent, frontoclypeus elongate. Scutellum triangular, wider than long; forewing with irregular accessory crossveins. Male eighth sternite wide (Figs. 62–65), with many small setae. Subgenital plate slender and elongate, outer margin with several long fine setae laterally. Style relatively slender, apex truncate.
Distribution. Old World tropics except Australia.
