Pseudanthias fucinus (Randall & Ralston, 1985)

A nthias fucinus Randall & Ralston, 1985

Holotype: BPBM 28622, 54.6 mm SL, male.

Type locality: southwest end of Penguin Bank, Hawaiian Islands (20°52.4' N, 157°39.3' W), depth 170 meters. Illustrations: Randall & Ralston, 1985:figs.2–4.

D: X, 16. A: III, 9. P: 15 or 16. C: 15. (8 + 7). V: 26 (10 + 16). S: 2. GR: 9 or 10 + 24 to 26. LL: 34 to 36. CP: 18.

Distribution: central Pacific: Johnston Atoll and Hawaiian Islands.
