Holotype: BPBM 22513, 49.0 mm SL, female.

Type locality: off Bulari Pass, south of Nouméa, New Caledonia, depth 100 meters. Illustration: Fourmanoir & Randall, 1979:322, fig. 3.

Distribution: western South Pacific: off New Caledonia.
