Holotype: BPBM 40412, 204 mm SL, male.
Type locality: Tuamotu Archipelago, Takaroa Atoll (14°30’ S, 144°58’ W; between 200 and 250 meters).
Illustrations: Randall, 2007b, figs. 2 & 3. D: X, 17. A: III, 7. P: 19. C: 13 (branched). V: 26. S: 3. LL: 37. CP: 21. Distribution: central South Pacific: known from a single specimen collected off Tuamotu Archipelago, Takaroa Atoll.
