Holotype: ZUMT 11755, 274 mm TL.

Type locality: Tokyo market, Japan. Illustration: Tanaka, 1924, pl. 148 (fig. 408).

D: X, 20 (21). A: III, 8 (9). P: 17. C: 5, 1, 15, 1, 4 (presumably 17 principal rays). LL: 60.

Distribution: uncertain.
