Plectropoma cinctum Günther, 1859
Holotype: BMNH 1855.9.19.1381, 235 mm TL.
Type locality: Norfolk Island, western South Pacific. Illustrations: Boulenger, 1895, pl. I; Hutchins, 1981:494, fig. 1a; Kuiter, 2004:122.
D: XIII, 15. A: III, 8. LL: 60.
Distribution: western South Pacific off Australia, New Zealand, Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island, and Kermadec Islands (Heemstra, 2010:60).
