Types: ♂ holotype, ♀ syntype from Colombia: " 300 miles up the Atrato River, in the woods"; X-1896. Initially at the ANSP, cat. no. 9958, it is currently lost (Martínez-Torres 2016).
Distribution: Western Colombia.
