Holotype. Mexico. Cacahuamilpa, Guerrero: 1♂ 28/VII/1956 S.L. Tuxen leg., in 70% alcohol (NHMD 71044).
Syntypes. Mexico. Cacahuamilpa, Guerrero: 2♂ 28/VII/1956 and 7/II/1989 S.L. Tuxen leg., on slides (NHMD 205872, NHMD 205873).
Current status: Valid name.
Additional notes: No holotype was designated in the original publication and the number of specimens was not indicated.
