Holotype. Denmark. Vorsö, Østermark, Iraadvende Zostera: 1ex. 27.VI.1932 S.L. Tuxen leg., on slide (NHMD 228944).
Paratypes. Denmark. Vorsö, Kaaevöen: 2exx. 26.VI.1932 S.L. Tuxen leg., on slides (NHMD 228945, NHMD 228946).
Current status: Junior synonym of Protaphorura bicampata (Gisin, 1956) (Traser 1995).
