Description
Genus Onithochiton Gray, 1847
Type species. Chiton undulatus Quoy & Gaimard, 1835, non Wood, 1828 (= Onithochiton neglectus de Rochebrune, 1881) SD Gray 1847.
Genus distribution and range. The genus is known from South Africa, the Indian Ocean, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, China, Japan and the Central Pacific Ocean. Miocene–Recent.
