Description

A guide to visual symptoms of nutrient deficiencies in seedlings of Silphium integrifolium. Seedlings grown hydroponically in nutrient solutions deficient in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, boron, sulfur, magnesium, and zinc were compared with control seedlings grown in a full nutrient solution. Photographs and descriptions of both foliage and roots are provided.
