Original material: as replaced synonym.
Current name: Pisonia mitis L. (Nyctaginaceae).
Note: Evidently an illegitimate renaming of P mitis L. (1753). The diagnosis of P. inermis is "P. caule inermi", compared with " P. inermis " for P. mitis in both Sp. Pl. 2: 1026. 1753, and in Sp. Pl., ed. 2, 2: 1511. 1763.
