Chemical investigation of comhined pet. ether and benzene soluhlcs from the ethanolic extruct of Dichrostachy cinerea (heartwood) afforded a new hydroxy ester, 6-hydmxypcntacosyl pentanoate along with α-amyrin palmitate, n-triacontanc, 1-octyl docosonoate, ceryl cerotate, friedelin, stigmastanol, epifriedelinol, α-amyrin, y-sitostcrol, β..sitostcrol and lacceric acid.
