Data output from 1-D Hybrid simulations for ''Second-harmonic Generation of EMIC Waves in the Inner Magnetosphere: Theoretical Analyses and Hybrid Simulations''. Data are all '.mat' files which can be loaded into the workspace of Matlab or Octave directly. 

 

Descriptions of the contents in each mat file:

XMAX: length of the simulation domain

Nx: number of cells

dtwci: time step

time: time series

by, bz: magnetic field fluctuations normalized to the background magnetic field B0
