Reproducible Computational Environments
Description
Presentations delivered as part of a community call for Reproducible Research Oxford on Reproducible Computational Environments. Other talks in the call can be found here: https://osf.io/xp9zn/
The introduction talk contains information about what a computational environment is, what makes them reproducible and why you should care about this reproducibility. It then introduces the tools that will be covered throughout the rest of the call.
The second talk then covers repo2docker as a tools to automate the building of environments drawing on some of the previous tools mentioned in the series. And then demonstrates how Binder can improve the accessibility of these repo2docker environments by leveraging the cloud to make them interactive in the cloud.
