Description
Land use types in percentage of upstream area for all E-HYPE sub-basins outlets. 10 different types are used: water, glacier, urban, forest, agriculture, pasture, wetland, open with vegetation, open without vegetation, irrigated.
This data can be linked to the shapefile "MULTIHARO_TotalDomain_WGS84_20140428_2" available as a separate download. To do so, link the "SUBID_OUT" filed of the shapefile with the "SUBID" field of this dataset.
Notes
Land use percentages have been previously gathered by Donnelly et al., 2016 for E-HYPE model setting (http://hypeweb.smhi.se/) using the following databases:
CORINE;
GLC2000 (Bartholomé et al., 2005) (for areas not covered by CORINE);
GGLWD (lake area, distribution, Lehner and Döll, 2004);
EIM (EU scale irrigation, Wriedt et al. 2009);
GMIA (global scale irrigation, Siebert et al. 2005)
